Get the Box (Sound III) Designed the full audio mix, foley, SFX, ambience, and music sourced from Freesound.org and YouTube, then edited and mixed in Pro Tools to build a cohesive cinematic soundscape.

I contributed to this group documentary as boom operator and video editor, capturing and shaping a visual profile of Hillsboro and its local character. In production, I was responsible for positioning and managing the boom microphone to ensure clean, consistent dialogue and environmental sound across interviews and location footage. This role required precision, awareness of framing, and real-time coordination with camera movement. In post-production, Me and my teammate edited the project to construct a cohesive narrative highlighting the community, environment, and identity of Hillsboro. Through pacing, sequencing, and sound integration, we shaped the footage into a unified piece that reflects both the atmosphere of the location and the voices within it.

I reworked the opening scene by reconstructing the ambient environment and refining dialogue clarity to heighten tension and spatial realism. Through careful balancing of room tone, movement, and environmental detail, the audio guides the viewer’s focus and reinforces the scene’s psychological atmosphere like the original clip

This project explores how editing can give motion and emotional weight to still imagery. Through deliberate pacing, sequencing, and timing, I constructed a visual rhythm that allows each frame to contribute to the larger narrative, turning static photographs into a continuous cinematic experience.

I rebuilt the scene using custom foley, mechanical sound effects, and layered ambience to create a believable robotic environment. Filtered air and tonal shaping were used to emphasize the mechanical quality of speech, reinforcing the artificial atmosphere of the Axiom.
